Evanston IL Fireworks and Other Communities

It is almost the 4th of July and time to enjoy time with friends and family and fireworks. The Evanston IL fireworks are always fun to watch, they always have an excellent show. I can't think when the last Evanston IL Fireworkstime I missed watching them and having a great time on this three day weekend. The parade is also so much fun to watch and attended by so many people in Evanston IL.

The Evanston Patch says, 

A fireworks display to celebrate the nation’s independence is planned for the Fourth of July in Evanston. 

The display will start at roughly 9:15 p.m. on Monday, July 4 at the corner of Sheridan Road and Church Street, according to FireworksinIllinois.com.

 If you can’t make it then, there are several other shows in Cook County planned during the week and weekend before. FireworksinIllinois.com has listed them all.

The website has listed all known displays in the state, in case you were going for a fireworks road trip.

The Independence Day celebration in Evanston will begin earlier in the day with a parade on Central Street from Central Park Avenue East to Ashland Avenue kicking off at 2 p.m.

Noah, I used to really love watching the fireworks, especially in The Thousand Islands where we could see them over the water from our cottage. 

Alas, we have a Golden Retriever (our second female with this) who is really afraid of those noises and so we sit inside with a movie and the doors/windows closed so that she doesn't freak out.
