Wordless Wednesday - Buttered Popcorn?

Seriously, Joanna... is that really buttered popcorn? Or are you pulling our legs here?
Joanna, was this taken in the park we went through?? Of course I have to know. I look forward to your Wordless Wednesday as much as I enjoy a good bowl of hot popcorn (that I don't have to share)!
Hi Joanna Cohlan . I am a big popcorn fan, I tend to bring an unpopped bag to work with me and just pop it in the microwave and the whole office smells great
Thank you for sharing, take care
Joanna,
I love the shot and the colors...very nice for a Wordless Wednesday, A
Hi there Barbara Todaro and Raymond E. Camp and Dorie Dillard and Dave Werth and Noah Seidenberg - Fooled you all!!! I think anyway. This was actually this incredible fungus that I saw growing on a rock that looked exactly like a kernel of buttered popcorn.

Well, GF, you instilled such a sensory response for me from this post, that I actually found my popcorn in my pantry and whipped up a bowl of the movie theatre buttered popcorn and ate every bit myself. Thank you!!!!
Joana, it does look awuflly buttery! So now I'm wondering what it is and what it tastes like.
Good morning Joanna. I take it no-one has figured out the name for the fungus. Hmm, I wonder if it is eatable
Glad you enjoyed it Gayle Rich-Boxman Fishhawk Lake Realtor (503)755-2905 - I am a popcorn lover myself so maybe I see popcorn in everything!
Doesn't it Patricia Kennedy ? I think we need to just imagine and wonder and not really try it!!!
I don't want to test it James Dray that's for sure!

Great picture and perfect title!
Popcorn just never seems to be as good as it smells! They should use it as air freshener!

I caved in and had buttered popcorn at the movies last week. This looks even better than what I had.
Can you believe that it's not popcorn Debbie Reynolds - so how was the movie?
That Michael Jacobs is so smart, I was going to tell you I like popcorn but only with a smudge of butter:))Endre

It does look kind of delicious, but no one would want to eat that one!
:)
Hi Joanna - you really did fool us although your question mark gave it away. Your photo is staged perfectly.
You may mention it, but I'm rushing through FB this morning. Soooo, I'm assuming it's a lovely fungus. :) While tempting, I don't think it probably tastes very good. Thanks for sharing your fun perspective. Hugs.
