I know a lot of Loan Officers that are always complaining about lsing deals.  Typically it is becaus another Loan Officer beat them out on price or found a loan program that the losing Loan Officer didn't suggest.  It drives m crazy to hear this because these are typically the same Loan officers that spend a ton of time at Starbuck's or getting their nails done with a Realtor or screwing off in some other fashion.  I think if they would spend some of that time reading the Scotsman Guide or reviewing the emails and flyers that we get all of thime from lenders, they would know about the other programs and pricing that is available.  Basically, it is about taking your job seriously and being a professional.  In the Real Estate business there is a tendancy to take it easy and do things the easy way.  How many people in the business have you run into at the grocery store on Wednesday with no make up and wearing sweats?  Well, that is one of the things that is great about this business - we get to manage our own time.  My warning is to make sure that you are managing your tie as an asset to your business.
