Here is my entry into the AR Hot Contest for July, 2016
Panama City Beach and Bay County, Florida is located on the northern part of the Gulf of Mexico.
Summers leand towards warm from March through June, and Hot July and August.
The humidity can get high during warmer months, but relatively mild compared to other parts of Florida.
Being in Florida we do have a hurricane season and are mindful of it from May through November.
Housing options are varied in Bay County.
From vacation oriented condo complexes which rent very well through out the year, to exquisite life style communities, to moderate family neighborhood homes, gated communities and to very rural horse and other farm types as well as mobile and Manufactured homes through out the area.
We pretty much run the gamut of housing in Bay County Florida.
Pricing of condos and homes in Bay County can range anywhere from $20,000 for a shotgun style home to millions for a life style mansion.
Even waterfront gulf condos can be had for less than $200,000 and bay front for even less!
During the summer (as well as winter actually) we have:
- Fishing (river, deep sea, bay etc.)
- Swimming
- Boating
- Parasailing
- Water parks
- Theme parks
- Rides
- Shopping galore
- Dinner cruises
- Fireworks
- White sandy beaches
- And so much more
It's really a vacationers paradise. Many who visit the Panama City Beach area, often purchase a 2nd home, townhouse or condo thanks to the affordable prices and rental income to made.
Many single family homes have pools, but not all, it depends on the neighborhood.
Pier Park which tends to be the go to shopping plaza has rides for children as well as a concerts in the park series for vacationers and residents alike!
