Stevens Point Mural Series - McDonald title Mural Update

 

Stevens Point murals

 

 My mom and a couple of nieces were in town this past week and I took a few hours off to enjoy the sights and sounds of Stevens Point.

We were disappointed when we went past this one and discovered that it is no more.

I always enjoyed going by this Mural, it was not one of the official city sponsored murals and it had a certain historical family business aire to it that is always enjoyable.

One bonus to this mural is that the artist painted a scene that could have been of this business as it was in the 1800's.

 Hopefully they will replace it when they are finished with their construction project.

I like mural, but if you were use to one that had been part of your memories,  I completely understand.

Whether it comes back or not, at least we have a photo of it that will remain as long as Active Rain exists.

That is a pretty mural and like you said maybe they will replace it soon.

I really enjoyed this mural as well.  Not sure what their plan is - but hopefully we'll have it back, soon - bigger and better than before.
