In Arizona during the month of July, the temperatures get pretty hot.  Daily it is above 100 degrees, often around 110, but occasionally we get a reprieve with a small storm and it cools down into the 90's, haha.  Of course, with the rain comes humidity, so even though it cools it down a bit, it feels hotter.

Yes, it would make a wonderful painting Ron and Alexandra Seigel and it would look great on the wall.

We're having record temperatures and heat indexes the last few weeks.  I just want to plant trees to combat it.  I need shade.

Happy Friday, Brian England !  Gorgeous Arizona desert scene but, not quite the way I remember it. Hahaha ~ Eons ago my family took a 6 week drive from Green Bay, Wisconsin - upper route to Washington State...down the Pacific coast to California...old Route 66 back to Wisconsin. But Brian, I do remember the Arizona desert...

As I recall, we drove through San Bernadino, Barstow and at Needles, Ca., they hooked up a tank-type window AC for crossing the 40-mile trek across the desert. We were instructed, for maximum satisfaction, not to open any car windows.  Well........, the 7 of us were melting in the car...we made a pit stop in the Arizona sandy desert - 114 degrees -  AND COOLED OFF.  Hahaha ~

That sounds like one heck of a trip Jane Chaulklin-Schott and cooling down in 114 degree weather sounds like the desert that I know, haha.  Happy Friday to you too my friend!

I don't really hike during the summer Noah Seidenberg , as it is just too hot outside, but I do like to hike in the cooler months!

Well, after it rains Michael Jacobs it is not such a dry heat, haha, but that doesn't happen very often.  We stay pretty dry here!

Looks at those crystal blue skies.  What a great scene this is.  I bet the Road Runner and Wyle E Coyote are out there somewhere.
