Happy Birthday to the Land of the Free
When you travel abroad you realize just how special our country is. Generally our people are happy and have plenty to eat and are blessed. Most towns and cities have quality of life as their mantras and reach out to do for the less fortunate. That is not the case in many other countries around the world.
Our Constitution states our freedoms very clearly and in over 200 years they are still relevant. Many thanks to our military, police, law enforcement teams and first responders that keep our country safe and sound. We owe you and respect you.
I am proud to be an American and feel good when I say the pledge and sing the National Anthem. I have a good life with the freedom to work hard and be rewarded for my hard work very important to me. I can choose where I live and where I go. There are so many small freedoms I enjoy and I confess many I take for granted. We all are blessed in this country.
The big freedoms like my choice of religion and worship and free speech are huge to me. The list goes one and on. May they remain forever.
Happy Birthday America
