It is the summer active season in our North Georgia mountains. People are in pools . People are hiking. It is tee shirt and shorts weather. But some folks are frozen. What causes " the big chill."
1 There is an election coming up and I am worried about who is going to win
2 There is a potential recession looming around the corner.
3 House values are not increasing.
4 House values are going to fall.
5 Brexit is going to effect the market
And on and on it goes.
Here is what I know. Mickey mouse in the Sorcerer's Apprentice fooled around with a crystal ball . How did he make out ? In fact after every presidential election the market returned to normal no matter who was elected.
House values are in fact increasing. We are growing around 6 percent a year. Some areas in North Georgia have homes hit the market on Monday and see offers on Thursday the same week.
As far as the rest of it goes who knows. Looking at the data house values consistently rise. But what about the bubble you say ? Take away the bubble and you will see straight line appreciation from the time they started keeping numbers.
I know about now, I cannot let fears, or for that matter over optimism shape my movements. So if you want to remain frozen in a market that is still a great time to by in then just stay that way. Stay in hibernation. Hey maybe that's why they call it a bear market.
Add your own reasons to remain frozen, I Think it would be interesting to see your comment
