Be Vigilant

In memory of the five Dallas Police Officers who have lost their lives and the seven wounded while protecting the people of Dallas and visitors to Texas on Thursday evening, we are being asked to pray for their families and keep those who protect and serve in prayer. At 12:00 noon today, July 8, 2016, the Chief of the Dallas Police Department and Officers are asking us to have a moment of silence while we keep them in our prayers.

The people of Dallas share the hurt the Dallas Police Department are feeling. We are all feeling the heat of the volcanic eruption of violence throughout our nation. There are many citizens of Dallas-Fort Worth brokenhearted and crushed by what is happening to our country. We are Texas proud. Christians unite in prayer and ask for your prayers too.

It is a terrible thing. These people had nothing to do with the reason for the protest. Maybe this wil get us to take stock and just stop it !

Charlie Ragonesi - The madness has got to stop! These crimes of violence are emotionally paralyzing. It is insane to think an individual or a small group of people, can cause such chaos and rip out the spirit of innocent people.

Pat Champion - The Dart (public transportation) Officer went to Iraq to teach people how to defend themselves. He came to Dallas and just got married two weeks ago. His wife and family must be devastated.

I express my sympathy to the families of the deceased, and to those who are suffering in hospitals at this very moment.  God have mercy on them, and God have mercy on the United States of America.

Fred Griffin - There is a struggle going on in our Society that I doubt even those who teach Sociology have answers to our questions. Extending mercy is a generous and noble gift. In order to persevere, we have to have faith and believe, good people, like you do exist.

Thank you for your goodness, Fred.

Fred Griffin totally summed up what I was thinking.  My heart goes out to the families of those officers who were slaughtered.  There is no question in my mind that what is going on in this country is the classic struggle between Good and Evil.

Patricia violence is never the answer and only produces more violence.  Many protest to arrive at a solution, but unfortunate there are others who protest to create disorder, and to destroy.  Hopefully what happened in Dallas cause people to choose their words wisely, and not to instigate more violence.

Mark Don McInnes, Sandpoint - Dallas is lucky to have the support of wonderful people from others states like you. These senseless tragedies are an atrocity beyond comprehension. Our government needs to recognize this as one of the top priorities and get those assault weapons out of the hands of the wrong people. We are all hurting because of these murderous acts and the coming unglued. Our nation worked so hard to come together after 9/11 and these past 8 years have shown how far back we've gone when it comes to racial issues and violence.
