The builder bought a sawmill and approximately 50 mahogany logs which were cut up into slabs to create the wood you see in the kitchen cabinets, breakfast nook, stairs, handrails, beds, dining room table, night stands, foot benchs, bathroom vanities, shelves and door and mirror trim.
