Color The Park School Supplies Drive In Ballantyne: July 25-August 8

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Realty

Color the Park School Supplies Drive In Charlotte's Ballantyne Corporate Park begins July 25th and runs through August 8th.

Monday is the first day of the 9th Annual Color The Park Supplies Drive, benefiting Classroom Central, sponsored by the Ballantyne Corporate Park.

Classroom Central is a "free store" for teachers in six Charlotte area counties, providing needed school supplies to over 100,000 children living in poverty. Each year Ballantyne Corporate Park sponsors the Color the Park Marker Drive. With over 13,000 packs of colored markers donated in past years, they'd love to beat that number this year! Donation barrels are located in the building lobbies in Ballantyne Corporate Park. But don't limit yourself to colored markers. Besides colored markers, colored pencils and crayons, as well as all school supply donations would be appreciated. Just check out the graphic below for what supplies are needed in the Charlotte area.

This is a great project.  My wife and I have 3 families that are struggling. 2 with 2 kids and 1 with 4.

all under 4th grade.

We will buy back packs and all the supplies the school list called for.   They will be delivered by an annonomous person and have no idea who gave it to them.

We love doing this.  'we will be able to watch the kids throught the year n\and see hwo they do and they wwill have no idea it was us.

William Feela ~ hi Bill... isn't it fun being a "Secret Santa" even in the summer? My immediate area is too affluent to find kids who need help, so I contribute through the drive.

George Souto ~ hi George... no matter generous people are each year, there is always so much more need than can be filled. It's sad really for such an affluent city.
