Color the Park School Supplies Drive In Charlotte's Ballantyne Corporate Park begins July 25th and runs through August 8th.
Monday is the first day of the 9th Annual Color The Park Supplies Drive, benefiting Classroom Central, sponsored by the Ballantyne Corporate Park.
Classroom Central is a "free store" for teachers in six Charlotte area counties, providing needed school supplies to over 100,000 children living in poverty. Each year Ballantyne Corporate Park sponsors the Color the Park Marker Drive. With over 13,000 packs of colored markers donated in past years, they'd love to beat that number this year! Donation barrels are located in the building lobbies in Ballantyne Corporate Park. But don't limit yourself to colored markers. Besides colored markers, colored pencils and crayons, as well as all school supply donations would be appreciated. Just check out the graphic below for what supplies are needed in the Charlotte area.

But if you miss out on getting your donation to the Ballantyne Corporate Park or find the location inconvenient, you can donate school supplies to Classroom Central throughout the Charlotte area this summer before school officially opens on August 25th.
