2016 Atlanta Field Day is a throw back to grade school, built with adults in mind. They’ve got all the classic events like tug of war, relay races, obstacle courses, etc. – plus some crazy new games and some surprises throughout the day. Teams will earn points in each event to add up to your total for the day. Teams are made up of 8 or more players, with no male-to-female ratio requirements. Co-ed teams are encouraged. 2016 Atlanta Field Day will be at Historic Fourth Ward Park located at the corner of North Avenue and Angiers in the Old Fourth Ward on Saturday, July 16th, 12pm-5:30pm.
Will your team have what it takes to take home the King of the Field title? Grab some friends, start your team, and get ready for the most fun you’ll have all Summer! This event is brought to you by Atlanta Sport and Social Club and Creative Loafing.
There will be food trucks selling food, soda, water, and beer. No outside alcohol will be allowed in the park, and there will be Security there to enforce this. Bring a water bottle to be refilled at the Player’s Lounge throughout the day.
Everyone who is participating in field day has to be signed up and accept the official waiver prior to the event starting. Also, each player that is on your roster will be given a wristband. Only players with a wristband will be able to compete for your team.
Can your team wear costumes? Hell Yes! In addition to King of the Field and Back of the Pack awards, they’ll have awards for best costumes and most team spirit!
