It didn't take much effort on my part to rise to the #2 slot on the Activerain leaderboard in Onondaga County, NY. A quick glance shows the Activerain members in my area are not very active. The person in the #1 position hasn't posted anything in over six months, and the person right after me in #3 position hasn't posted anything in over three years! I haven't been very active lately either--maybe because I'm not getting much out of it.
As a county, our scores, number of blog posts, and number featured are pretty pitiful. Could this mean Activerain members here have found that it isn't very useful? Is it a lack of awareness? Is it a waste of time for people in this area?
I'd like to see more professionals in CNY (Central New York) contributing to Activerain on a regular basis. The opinions and advice of all members is valuable, but it doesn't always pertain to folks in CNY.
