I do not play Nintendo games. I did not want to my children to spend much time playing games and tried to steer them in learning about computers. I coded a few games for my family. Some I never can get it working right. A game company called Sierra Entertainment sold my 9 year-old son a diskette with corrupted file. I took it back to the developer at one time General Electric Nuclear Power refueling lab here for RMA exchange. I brought my son along. He was fascinated by the tour given at that game developer co. After observed what they do, my son vowed that he wanted to work at a computer game company. He is now at Adobe doing data mining and analytics not far from that software company.
Fast forward. The Pokémon Go fever got caught using our Android devices. I heard in San Francisco one out two persons are playing the game.
The appls are supposed to be free until you need to purchase balls. Now on the Craigslist people just started using their proximity to gyms to PokéStops to attract roommates. Clinton uses to attract voters. To confirm this I find both San Francisco and New York City have a few roommates looking at the places. Actually, it has a total of 5 ads when I checked today.

Housing gurus from roommate-seekers to Realtors, are now drawing conclusions to their Pokémon-inspired properties trying a get rich quick scheme, better SEO, low DOM etc. It is a hot topic.

Pokemon figures
According to CNBC News, a Realtor tried to impose Pokemon Go at Open House last week but did not attract but a few minors. The TV news suggested it is effective to attract students and young people.

There has been a few articles including this by Judy Duttom on Realtor.com- My Home was turned into a pokemon go-gym. People explained their home for sale is between a PokeStop with Berries. Some go in such depth speculating that the value of the home = Z est +$ 50K for Gym and $10K for Red -(レッド Reddo), $20K for Rosa -Mei (メイ)... and location matters for a gym?
Honestly, if it is going to another Farmville game, I will not want play. I hope the fad will go away so I can do more traditional work. No, if these generation Y comes with a gift letter with their parents who can help with $220K down-payment and can afford 900K mortgage I will learn Pokemon Go.
