Fascinating Clouds in ActiveRain

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz has a group on ActiveRain that is almost eight years old. Clouds at ActiveRain is a place to post your photos of . . . you guessed it, clouds. He wants people to be aware of his group.

I live in the magnificent state of Colorado. When the winds blow over the Rocky Mountains, there are some gorgeous subjects for Bob's group. Here are a few samples of some of my personal cloud photos. Grab your favorite cuppa whatever you like to drink, and I'll try to overload the AR Server ;)

Thank you, Praful Thakkar. Yeah, I never think of posting my photos to AR. I did this post and just kept finding photos, thinking, "Oh, that's a good one."  I have hundreds more, not to worry LOL

One of the reasons that Victorians used so many colors was just that . . . they tried to imitate the colors they saw when they looked out the windows.

Good morning again, Bill Roberts. When I was growing up, my great grandmother, grandfather, and mother were real estate 'professionals.' The era in my part of Florida was Victorians and Arts and Crafts homes, both of which I adored.

When my husband and I started remodeling homes, it was in downtown Colorado Springs, mostly Victorians and Arts and Craft homes, and it's what I was familiar with, so I learned A LOT in that process. 

And, to be fair, let's not forget who you're talking to . . . one of my recent books was set in the Victorian era, and there's a lot of research that goes into that. Had I been blessed with a sixth daughter (alas, I only had five) she would have been Victoria - but I would have called her Tory, not Vicky.

Oh, I am fully aware of who I am talking to. I was hoping you would lead into your historical novels.

But "Tory"? I like Vicky. I've known Vickys. The only Tory I'm aware of is that child of the movie producer. Not a good reason to name a child Tory I would think.
