Beverly Hills Realtor Endre Barath. Jr’s Social Media Success story….
Needless to say my story is nothing like the “Ice Bucket Challenge” of a couple years ago. That to me is the Ultimate Social Media Success Story. Over $115 million raised and who knows how many Ice Bucket Videos were posted on Facebook and all the other portals for a great cause to fight Lou Gehrig’s disease.
My story pales to the above success… but I am digressing, anyway let me get on with my story. About eight or nine years ago, someone said to me: why don’t you check out this Real Estate Social Media Platform called Active Rain? I did and started to learn what blogging was all about. I learned a lot about people, internet skills and a lot of other valuable nuggets on my journey of becoming a Real Estate Blogger. The biggest success for me was, that I found my Voice and the most important aspect of that translated to fact that my name got out all over the world.
Potential buyers and sellers of Beverly Hills Real Estate started reaching out to me from all parts of the Globe. Initially I received clients from Australia and then Japan and finally from Europe and the Middle East. Now go figure, I wrote posts about the fact, that I was fluent in German and fluent in Hungarian. Ironically I did get a few clients from Germany and from Hungary, but the majority came from other parts of the world.
The best part was my clients from France, Italy, Finland. Israel, China, Saudi Arabia and Japan to name a few, all spoke fluent English and could write better emails than the average American. So even though I had two additional languages that I could offer to potential clients, it was not necessary. The universal business language for Real Estate is English.
So the byproduct of my social media success was that, I developed a great many relationships, friendships, not just on Active Rain, but on other platforms as well. (Some of these friendships will be life time friendships)
Needless to say, that is not too bad, getting clients and friends from Social Media. I would like to thank the founders of Active Rain where ever they may be now. They helped me International All Cash Buyers in Beverly Hills. Keep in mind this was when the Global Real Estate downturn was in full swing and no one was lending money and very few locals were willing to buy properties. Now everyone is back buying and I have a few Niche Markets one of them being International Real Estate Investors.
