If you like architecture, then you will have fun downtown Albany New York.  There is such a diversity in architectural styles. One building that I found rather interesting was located across the street from NY State Capitol building  on State Street.

This is the Albany City Hall on Eagle Street.   The building is on the US Nation Register of Historic place.

Hi Endre,

I am okay, and I hope all is well with you too.

This area in Albany has so many wonderful buildings, the European influence is very obvious.

Jennifer Fivelsdal There is no question that there are many historic buildings in the Albany, New York Area. I used to visit the State Capitol regularly and the one thing I don't miss are the winters!

Sandy and Norm,

I agree the winters could be really harsh.  I worked in Albany for several years and dreaded the winter.

The historic buildings are amazing.

Jennifer this structure looks more like a church than it does a city hall.
