Located in close proximity to DFW Airport and Love Field, the DFW Metroplex is ideal for people who travel frequently, such as Pilots, Flight Attendants, Aircraft Mechanics, and people who travel for business and/or pleasure. If you’re a City Slicker, Dallas may appeal to you, especially if you like to experience diverse cultural events, entertainment, and the arts. Here you’ll discover the eclectic lifestyle, great opportunities to mix and mingle with like kinds of whatever style you prefer. Dallas Zoo, Dallas Arboretum, American Airlines Dallas, The Arts District, Dallas Convention Center are just a few places to unwind.
If you’re a casual Cowboy type, Fort Worth is the place to go. Here you'll find great southwest cuisine and entertainment, such as at Billy Bobs at the Stockyards. Fort Worth is a great place to enjoy dressing down or up in blue jeans and cowboy boots, cowboy hats too, or just be yourself. There’s the Fort Worth Zoo, Japanese Gardens, Kimble Museum, Perot Museum, Holocaust Museum, Cowboys Coliseum, Bass Hall, Fort Worth Convention Center, and lots more!
The Metroplex is sprinkled with many different cities. Each has unique flavor and features, such as Arlington is home to the Texas Rangers, The United Center, and Six Flags. If you like Rodeo Shows, you can get that in Fort Worth or Mesquite. Flower Mound is known for its great schools. Grapevine has Gaylord Texas, The Great Wolf Lodge, LegoLand, and downtown Grapevine on Main where they offer lots of fun things to do, such as wine tastings, and family fun activities year round. Too many cities to mention! You can experience them all!
If you’re a Lake Lover, Lewisville Lake, Lake Grapevine, Lake Ray Hubbard are a few. Horses? Plenty to choose from in different locations throughout the Metroplex. Whether its lakes, horses, longhorns, or ostrich, it's all here!
Overall, Texas is hot because the weather is most comfortable year round. Generally, there are early springs and short winters. Plants have bloomed as early as January and as late as November. Some people say we have two seasons – winter and summer. As unbelievable as it may sound, one could plan to shut the heat off one day and the next day turn on the air conditioning.
For these reasons, and for the love of Texas, the Housing Market can be hot year round. Many people relocate to Texas for jobs and extended families relocate from colder climates retire to Texas to be close to family. New Construction is booming all over the Metroplex. We are still in a Seller’s Market. Lots of Buyers with low inventory but most are finding what they want, but they know that they can’t waste time thinking about it. If priced right, properties go fast! There are a lot more rentals than I’ve seen in years past and rents are on the rise. One is likely to find affordable housing around $200,000.00 or as luxurious as a few Million Dollars. Apartments have increased in number over the last few years and they are being occupied. We have great Medical facilities throughout the DFW Area. There’s upscale lofts and homes in mixed-use communities such as Dallas, Fort Worth, Flower Mound, Grapevine, and more. Single Family Residential is very popular. Singles may like Townhouses and Condominiums or they buy Single Family Residential too. Many homeowners have Gunite Pools, Outdoor Living Rooms, Spas, Game Rooms, and neighbor trails are in just about every subdivision.
Subdivisions with HOAs have a variety of different amenities. Whether you’re looking for Golf Course Communities, Lake Views, Horse Properties, Mixed Use, in close proximity to the night-life in Dallas or Fort Worth, or you just want a neighborhood community that offers HOAs with community pools or no HOA – it’s all here! We have water parks in Arlington, The Colony, Roanoke, Collin County, Denton County, and more. Big malls, strip malls, mini malls – you can find them too. Plus, you’ll never go hungry. Just about every cuisine for every budget is here in The Dallas Fort Worth Area. In Summer people enjoy Concerts in the Park and parades for every season.
Football is HUGE in Texas. There are lots of Farmer Markets, wineries, amusement and entertainment places, and of course the arts.
