Recently, I received a Zillow testimonial from a past client. Good news.
It was hastily typed into a cell phone and reads like one long, run-on sentence. Bad news.
Instead of the period (.) my client meant to insert, an "n" two keys over was hit in error. This completely changed the meaning of the sentence. Bizarre.
The Zillow testimonial should have read, "She goes the extra mile for me."
but it reads...
"She goes the extra mile for men."
Wink, wink.
I'm more than a little embarrassed to come off like a senior citizen floozy. Ha!
I, laughingly, asked my client to correct the typo when I first saw it. She was going to delete and redo but, apparently, never got to it.
Awkward predicament.
I know she's going crazy, right about now, emptying one house and getting ready to move into another that needs all kinds of renovations but, what to do if this testimonial is not top of mind?
I suppose I could operate on the assumption that even bad press is better than no press, but I'd feel a lot more comfortable with a revision.
Zillow, can you help me? I'd rather not be known as the REALTOR® who provides extra services for men!
