Bob "RealMan" Timm - I do not understand how you think he would consider himself a man to endorse a bully, who insulted him and his wife, leaving alone who insulted every American.

So, you do not like him exactly for being honest, for not being able to step on his own throat and endorse Trump? For being honest to millions like me?

No, he did not backstabbed Trump,  he was not the one who insulted Trump at any opportunity.

And no, he did not play the party tune.

And this is exactly why I respect him.

Sybil Campbell - I read that his speech was a political suicide. Well, I do not believe it. But if it is, he dies as honest man.

I have seen too many in this campaign, who are political prostitutes, and so far two men stand out of the crowd: Cruz and Kasich.

The rest are real politicians. They say what is needed to say. I remember what they were saying about Trump. So, they all saw what a moron he was. But for the political expedience they need to endorse him? Shame upon them.

Nicholas Goglucci - being booed sometimes is a good sign. It shows that he was not in the flow, and that's good.

As for the careers of those 2 people, I see it very different. when the dust settles and we see what harm we have dome, too many would be marred in dirt.

These two did not marr themselves in dirt for political expedience. They did not win the presidency, but they did not sell decency. Like Christi, for example.

Bob "RealMan" Timm - actually he did not. The line of candidates was asked who would not do it, and Cruz did not raise his hand, yes. I think it is not the same as, actually, pledging.

Now, I expect Presidency seekers to see the candidates for what they are and yes, stand on principal, rather than cheap promise. So, Cruz changing his tune is a very good thing. Because he changed not to be a darling of the party. There is no political capital in doing it, it is the opposite, and this is not honesty to you? Lying is?

So, if for you saying fine, go screw the country is better than saying, no, I will not endorse the bully, it is your personal choice. But why bring honesty into it? You seriously do not know that Trumop lied even way more than Hillary?

Of course, we know that Hillary did it for political purposes, so she lied on purpose, and Trumpo often lied because he simply does not know anything. But does it make him honest? And after he was shown the calculations, showing him that he was lying, two days later he repeated the lie again.

You see what you want to see, that's fine, but the straight record is that TWrump is a liar, is un-American (nobody spoke this way about other candidates). No, we do not need to be big boys, because we now allow bullies to attack families, to call names... Yo want to say that it is needed? And whoever does it more becomes the President?

Then you are getting one exactly like this.

You may love Trump, but it does not mean that Trump does not lie. The proof is all over the place, how could you not see it. Check this one.

But if we are reduced to unconditionally love Trump, then sorry... Then I am the wrong guy.

Denise Hamlin - I am asking myself this question a lot. If I would do to anyone on Active Rain what he did, for example, to the only lady/candidate, I am sure nobody would talk to me. I would instantly become a pariah ...
