Yesterday was a good and bad day. I have worked hard and done well in my part time gig. It seems while it is noticed it isn't appreciated and I am not sure I will take crap from a couple of folks who have no clue. I may not stay. At this point in my life if it isn't enhancing, it isn't important. Reflecting today.
Sheila I wonder if those folks know how they're coming across? Some don't and some do it on purpose (why I don't know) because it so doesn't create a positive environment. I recently ran into this and said - no thanks. I'm so not working with them. I would like to think they'd wisen up .....

I hate it when people do not appreciate other people.

Hi Anna. My big boss is a joy but the people who work for him directly or the higher ups in the state have no clue. I can handle that but when folks are rude and then pretend not to have been, I am done. They do know what they are doing. They are snobs and I don't deal with that. Thank you my friend. Sheila
Sheila I don't not blame you for not wanting to deal with the situation, and good to be in a position to have the option to not put up with it.

Seems you have been at this point before with this place. Always best to be somewhere where you are appreciated.

I think we come to a point in our lives where we have a little more luxury when it comes to cherry picking how we wish to spend our time.

Shelia,
At this point you need to do what makes you happy! If you want to leave leave if you want to stay stay! But do not let a couple of idiots ruin something iyou like doing!

Thank you Paul. I am meeting my old boss tonight for dinner. I quit and now I am appreciated. Sheila
Life is too short to put up with that;
that seems to be the wisdom I've gained from my years; and the wisdom I'd like to impart to the younger generation.
There truly is no other option.
