Using Color in the Landscape when Selling Your Home!

At my monthly Realtor association meeting the guest speaker was from Collin County Master Gardner's Club. The topic was using color in the landscape.  I was pleasantly surprised how color really does capture attention!

The speaker explained to us how using color in the landscape depicts feelings and moods of the home. She explained that planting color by the front door draws people in and sets the overall tone on how they feel about the home. She also said there is not need to plant the flowers throughout the whole front of the home but in an angle by the front door drawing the buyers in ! This is really helpful as sellers always ask if they should plant flowers.

If you want more information on plant colors or plants in general  :

  • What plants bloom in spring?
  • What plants bloom in summer?
  • What plants bloom in fall?
  • What plants attract bees?
  • What plants attract hummingbirds?

And many, many more questions answered about plants click

HERE  this will take you to the Collin County Master Gardner's Club website where there is a wealth of information on Gardening in North Texas!

Definitively, colors make a big difference, I know few of my agents advice that to the Sellers and depending on the case, they do it for them. It always works, you sell the house faster with the curb appeal.
