The Value of Condominium Amenities to Buyers

Living in condominiums has a greater advantage to homeowners because of the extra amenities they get to enjoy while living there. In fact, research shows that most buyers consider the extra amenities they are getting in a condominium when buying as opposed to fees they have to pay for them. Condominiums have therefore gone to another level by providing extra amenities that would be pleasing to the kind of homeowners they are looking forward to sell their houses to. A good example is a condominium rooftop observatory in North America meant to give unit owners the ability to study stars through a high-caliber telescope.

Condominiums that concentrate on single or young families would be adding amenities such as children playgrounds, rock climbing walls, pools and food or play courts that work to attract that line of potential homeowners. For those condominiums with unit owners of old age, amenities that are likely to attract that group of buyers such as relaxation and massage rooms are made present. The issue with condominiums having many amenities to cater for unit owners usually presents a potential challenge of high monthly maintenance fee. Surprisingly this is not a turnoff for many unit owners as they prefer to have the amenities present than to lack in what makes their home complete for a few additional dollars.

Other condominiums have even gone to an extent of providing educational talks on gardening, music, painting, and cooking to bring residents together using community-based projects. Board members and presidents of associations agree that amenities in condominiums that are futuristic will be serving residents for a long time without losing value.
