Harry Potter Book Release Party at Katy Budget Books

Katy Budget Books is hosting a party to celebrate the Release of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - Parts one & Two”. The festivities begin at 10 AM on Saturday July 30, 2016. Attendees will receive a number at the door with presentation of a purchase receipt for this book.

Starting at Midnight, readers will be called by their number to obtain their new Harry Potter book. There will be games to play such as Quidditch Game , Pin the scarf on Harry Potter plus numerous other fun activities. Dress as a favorite character and enter the special Costume Contest. Parents must accompany their children.

Katy Budget Books is located 2450 Fry Road, Houston, TX 77084.While they have a Houston address folks consider this area part of Katy on North Fry Road.

Obviously as we do not have children this age ( grandchild was just born last week) we will not be attending. I do endorse reading and especially events which encourage children to read a real book or any book. I know I am old school and frankly proud of this fact! Reading, writing and arithmetic are essential life skills and especially in this day and age.

Thank you for your comments. My oldest step-son read some of these Harry Potter books and loved the these books. I have never had the opportunity to read or see the movies. We now have a new grand baby and maybe we need to introduce her to Harry Potter.. Reading to her as well as playing music will be very important in my book..
