After business on Monday night we put up our sign on our new listing. We have 1 business day to get it in the multiple listing service. The house is 20 minutes from my partner, Bill Taylor's, home and 45 minutes from my home. At 2 PM I had phone call. This lady wanted to see the property. I scheduled the showing for 4 PM and warned her we weren't ready for prime time.
My partner went out to show the home. at 4:08 PM he texted still waiting. I called the lady and told her my partner was at the home. She decided not to see it and didn't bother to call. I was annoyed. I still am. I know we are Realtors but we are people too. I am sure my partner had something to do with his time. If I had gone out it would have cost me at least 2 hours.
Bill is a good natured guy and used his time to help our clients prepare the house for the market.
Please if you are not going to keep an appointment call and cancel!
