Facebook Marketing Tips
Social media, and Facebook in general, are outlets many use to share their personal views on a range of social, economic, environmental, and political topics, many of which are controversial and/or hot for debate. If you feel you must engage in discussions on topics that can boil over, use your personal FB page, not your biz page.
Consumers who are visiting our biz pages want to buy/sell houses and are looking for an agent to assist, not read about our strong personal opinions on non-real estate topics (it is hard enough to attract new prospects/clients...the last thing we should be doing is running them off).
There is a good possibility FB could reach 2 billion users by the end of the year! More than a few are looking to join the real estate market in each of our communities right now too. Hopefully, because you are actively working on your Facebook presence, you are the resource those consumers will be calling when ready to make a real estate move. Just sayin' Rainers! ;-)
