If you wakeup early enough in the Tucson summer's - especially after a long night of summer monsoon rains - often you can catch the prettiest pictures of the desert after they have had a long drink of water.
I tend to be out by 5am getting exercise in before the heat hits - and it hits hard by 8am! That means, I catch the sunrises and on a partularly long trail run - I found this beauty. My daughter happened to be with me and caught a great photo of the leftover rain!
