The Smoke Tree Stables, located on the southwest corner of the history rich property, is expertly maintained by K.C. Johnson and his fully experienced ranch hands. For an introduction to begin your experience of the stunning desert life from your choice location on horse back is the hour long Smoke Tree Mountain & Wash trail ride. Following a trail that takes you along Smoke Tree Mountain and journeys in the direction of Andreas Canyon, this ride gives you ample time to adjust to riding.
No trail ride is complete without the crossing of at least a small body of water and a visit to a natural oasis complete with palms. The Canyon Ride delivers just that and more with a two hour ride to the Andreas Canyon.
Choosing the Murray Canyon Ride takes you across a creek and brings you to the famed Kaufman Trail where the ride culminates for a breathtaking
view of the Coachella Valley and all three Indian Canyons, this particular trail ride provides you with the perfect setting to experience the desert in an entirely different way.
The Palm Canyon ride, lasting four hours, heads south for a ride deep into the Indian Canyons largest location. Also offering the beauty of a sparkling stream in the desert sun with numerous palms to enhance the ambiance, you find yourself viewing the Indian Trading Post.
