San Antonio continues to be affordable compared to Texas and the nation. And while it is true our prices have increased we still offer great housing dollar value when you compare us to many other cities and states.

The Average Sales Price for June was $ 247,339 (with the median sale price coming in at $ 212, 500).

Statewide here in Texas the average home sale price was coming in at $ 277, 198.  (This is almost a $  30,000. differential  between us and homes in the state of Texas overall).

Over 45% of all homes sold in June in our San Antonio MLS Service were priced at or under $ 200,000.

Homes sold from $ 200,000. up to $ 500,000. made up 49.4% of all June home sales. Our San Antonio

home inventory is slightly up and we currently have close t a 4 month supply of properties available.

Price per sq. ft is averaging $ 111. per sq. ft. with Days on Market (DOM) currently averaging 54 days.

San Antonio June Homes Sales were up 5%  year over year.

All these figures were gleened from the San Antonio Board of Realtors (SABOR) MLS statistics.

So Remember the Alamo City - we are the greatest city in the greatest state!

Great information on the affodability of the San Antonio housing market. Anyone can see from your knowledge of the market that you are the go-to Realtor in the area and can best help buyers, and sellers, with their housing needs.

Phenomenal prices. I have family in the area and other family in Texas and it always makes me wish I was concerned with affording housing there and not elsewhere!
