The two builders are M/I Homes which was founded in 1976 and Gehan homes which was founded in 1983. Both builders have been around a long time and have a great reputation here in Garland, TX.
As a Garland resident myself, this subdivision is in a great location. It is conveniently located about two miles to President George Bush Turnpike, Hwy 78, Hwy 66, and only miles to Hwy 75. So either way you travel from within the Castle Point subdivision, you will have easy access to downtown or other major highways. There are also many places that are nearby to shop for groceries or just retail shopping. People like this subdivision because it is secluded with a creek preserve, close to Lake Ray Hubbard and even has a nearby park that is within two miles of the subdivision. The park has walking trails where a lot of people go to walk or run, it also has a creek preserve, a playground and plenty of grassy area to play soccer or your favorite sport.

What’s the neighborhood like?
Again, homes in Castle Point subdivision in Garland, TX were built in 2016. The price point ranges from $280’s-350’s with square footage anywhere between 1800-3600. The neighborhood consist of one to two story homes with front entry two car garages. Now depending on the lot size will determine if there is enough space available for a three car garage, but the option is definitely available. The subdivision is growing so fast that the builders are already in phase two. M/I Homes only have 12 lots left in their phase, pus eight spec homes they just started, that will be ready in December. Whereas, Gehan Homes will have 140 total homes in the subdivision with half of the homes already completed and not to mention the spec homes they currently have available as well. Both builders require mandatory HOA dues. M/I is $400 a year and Gehan is $480 a year. The fees covers the upkeep of the neighborhood.
