To answer your last question (#11), there are various ways to respond to comments - I usually respond to each one, but in a mass answer (in other words, I don't "reply" to each comment separately, but reply to each in a comment box.)  Hopefully that makes sense! But others use the "reply" function to answer each comment. That works also. The key is to respond!
