 Leverage with Facebook- Out of the Box

Many of my clients, both buyers and sellers, are also my Facebook friends.  On a daily basis, on my personal Facebook page, I share fun-friend photos, food and recipes, my artwork, and cool La Quinta pics-- but I also share my closings, new listings, marketing materials ( postcards), photos of homes and neighborhoods, etc.  Although I am interested in many things-- I want to remind my friends that my business is selling real estate! Kathy Schowe Real Estate

I also have business pages Kathy Schowe for real estate, Kathy's Kitchen for cooking and recipes, and 365 Things to do in Palm Springs for sharing current events and promoting local businesses and news.

The key is to not bombard your followers with real estate- but don't be afraid to share your successes, and your challenges.

Keep their interest with your interests... and be interested in them!

I have, of course, seen all of your pages on Facebook and you do a great job! I think the key is as you say - "Keep their interest with your interests...and be interested in them!" Yes you want people to know what you do, but no one wants it shoved in their face all the time.

We love that you've created different FB pages with your interests. So many agents have just one page (which is already a big commitment!), but it's really neat that you've found a way to keep in touch while focusing on your OWN hobbies and communities.
