For the last couple of years affordable housing has been a focus and concern of mine.
I serve on the Texas Association of Realtors Affordable Housing Committee. And our San Antonio market while not expensive is increasing in price substantially. As a Realtor for 38 years I love being able to sell all types and prices of housing. But I never forget my concerns about the future of San Antonio housing - and what it holds for first time homebuyers, move up buyers and our residential home market in general. How will young families afford housing in the future? Recently, I have seen many articles about the benefits of tiny houses and houses constructed out of shipping containers. Modular housing, of course, has long been a staple of the more modest housing market. So how and where do you see the housing market going in the future for average Americans going?
