In this fast paced world, so many of us are not allowing ourselves to take a moment to breath and enjoy the wonders all around us. It seems we are all contributing to this mindset and way of living collectively.
A main suggestion I always offer to my clients when talking about the Health and Creativity Gua's, is to allow time for just them. We need to have fun, even during challenging times. When we allow ourselves to enjoy, laugh and play, it's like you are releasing a pressure point of stress for your spirit, emotional and physical bodies.
Who wants to live a life where all you do is work, rush around and stress out?
I'm not waiting until I'm the societal "retirement age" to enjoy my life. Living presently means to live in the now and embrace the current moment. Yes, you have responsibilities, while you also have a responsibility to yourself.
If anything, at least give yourself one day out of the week to indulge something you personally enjoy. Perhaps its going to a concert, festival, creating artwork, reading a book, just relaxing, swimming, hiking, enjoying a simple home cooked meal with family or friends or watching a movie.
Honor yourself by showing self-care and love and allow that positive wave of influential energy to connect with others.
