Here are my reflections of the last year between Mastermind 2015 and Mastermind 2016 Do we just attend, get fired up and go home to the same routines? No way! In 2015 I attended MasterMind 2015 where we committed to go All In To Win! On certain goals we had procrastinated or new ones we set. During this 3 day event, I listened to Diana Nyad talk about her “all in to swim” from Cuba to Florida, the first human to do this freestyle! I listened to Success Magazine’s Darren Hardy discuss the Compound Effect of All In To Win. Les Brown made a surprise appearance and inspired us on the idea that it doesn't matter where you are starting from, you can get to where you want to go if you go "All In" on the effort to do so. And of course our fearless leader Brian Buffini wowed us from stage throughout the 3 days with impactful ALL IN ideas, philosophies & stories. So what did I do to honor that 2015 commitment?

August 2015
Within 2 weeks of walking out of Day 3 and back to reality I resigned from Coldwell Banker after 12 great years and invested in me. I hung my license at Big Block Realty on August 24, 2015, rented an office in UTC/La Jolla and opened up my own shop.
I also realized that a partnership I had been working on for 6 months needed to be canceled, because it wasn’t going to let me spread my wings. That hurt, because although I remain friends with the other two, it killed a fantasy of running my business with two awesome agents and close friends whom I nothing but love and respect; just too many conductors, not enough musicians.
September 2015
I re-committed to the basics: prospecting & lead generation, marketing & furthering my brand through networking. I elevated my CEO & COO activities, still not perfect, but better than before.
I got control of my CFO and created a budget & a debt rollover plan to be consumer debt-free by 2017.

All In To Win a very exclusive CEO networking group. High caliber people with high caliber problem solving & strategy skills to surround myself with; networking on the next level.

My patience rewarded me with an amazing partnership opportunity with Fusion Real Estate and I sealed the deal in May.
I also committed to a personal trainer and boot camps; All In To Win my health back!

Now, I’m working harder than ever on the lead generation & customer care basics: calls, notes, pop-bys (more in 2016 than ever before), coffees, lunches & dinners with clients, networking partners & mentors.

All In To Win brought me to major financial & time commitment too, first time ever qualifying to get into Peak Experience, the absolute elite training event that Buffini & Company offers each May to his Top 500 coached clients. These are high caliber people and agents, wow they were impressive to meet & mingle with! The help & encouragement of a good friend got me in, even though I had no idea how I’d pay for it; the commitment made me work hard to have it completely paid off, hotel and all, prior to it actually starting!

In a few hours I’ll enter The Quantum Leap, MasterMind 2016 and I simply can’t wait to see where this year takes me! It’s A Good Life, but you have to live it outside your comfort zone sometimes to discover the success you seek.
