Saturday August 13
Clay Day!
The Hawai‘i Potters' Guild will take museum visitors for a spin on their potter's wheels. Then everyone can make their own air-dry clay octopus (he‘e) to take home! Come early for a chance to try your hand at the wheel during this free family fun day. Second Saturday activities at the Hawai‘i State Art Museum run from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm (while supplies last); galleries are open until 4:00 pm.
The Hawai‘i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts invites everyone to visit the Hawai‘i State Art Museum (HiSAM). HiSAM is located on the 2nd floor of the No. 1 Capitol District Building, 250 South Hotel Street, Honolulu, Hawai‘i, 96813. Admission is free at all times.
