Where are Short Sales and Foreclosures in Sacramento?

You can always tell when a new real estate seminar has happened at some of our local hotels in Sacramento because suddenly the phone calls from eager investors begin to flood my phone. When I try to explain how the short sale and foreclosure market works in Sacramento, and why it is advantageous to work closely with a Realtor, they often don't want to hear that advice.

Because, you know, the seminar guru told them in 2 hours everything they need to know. They could not possibly learn anything from a professional Realtor. They've got their strategy all mapped out. Well, those people are not buyers. That's the thing some agents don't always fully realize.

You can read more about this in my personal blog today at this link: Where to Find Short Sales and Foreclosures in Sacramento.

Hi Elizabeth.  Many folks that have read or attended a real estate investment class are all hot to trot to buy a foreclosure.  Yet, they have no clue of what they are actually getting into.

Hi Elizabeth -- gotta love those hotel seminars where expertise in any subject is taught in one afternoon.   Your point about "qualifying" sellers in a short sale is a very smart one and likely not something that is reviewed in a seminar.
