Another post about the power of ACTIVE RAIN

Real Estate Agent with Florida Future Realty, Inc. BK3071625

So this is my 100th post - YAY :)

I'm excited about that but what I'm even more excited about is the fact that this site brings in business.

Broker Bryant just posted about finding yet another client through the direct efforts of blogging here. Others have made similar posts as well. Cape Coral photo

Some recently have even questioned why they are even blogging & were wondering what the point was.

So I hope this helps with the point.

A couple of weeks ago I got a call from Ann Cummings, another Active Rainer, about a possible referral. I called her back & she told me about a couple from NH that is considering a move to the area, either here, or Gerogia.

Well today they came here & we went to look at the different options available here in Cape Coral. We looked at some older homes with pools & some newer, larger homes without. We toured the entire city & I am pretty sure they can see themselves living here. After our meeting, I sent them off to see some local hot spots for the rest of their evening.

They have to sell their townhome in NH before they can do anything but I'm sure they will want to do that sooner than later, depending upon the market there.

Also, last week one of my clients emailed me to see if I could recommend a great Tampa Realtor. Well, of course I contacted Sharon Simms, immediately about this. She told me that she doesn't handle listings in that area & referred me over to another agent, not an active rainer that I know of. Well this agent never responded to my email so I kept looking.

I found Russ Perlowski here on Active Rain & he does work in that area & so I sent the referral over to him.

2 referrals in about a weeks time. All because we are here on Active Rain blogging away.

I look forward to being able to send more of you referrals as I am able & will always take great care with any referrals you have for this area.

Yours in Success,

Susan :)

By the way, that's my excited face over there, hope it didn't scare you....

Susan - WOW - 100 posts!!!  I'm impressed!!  I'm close, still a handful more to do, but getting there!

I'm glad things went well today - they are such a nice couple and I so enjoyed working with them up here when I sold them their condo.  And you're right about AR being a business-builder!  I've been contacted a Congratscouple of times in the last week for potential referrals to my areas from AR folks.

Good job and congrats again on your 100th post!!!

Thanks for the enouragement.  I'm new to blogging but have enjoyed it so far.  I'm finding it to be a little addictive though.  What it is going in to is my sleep time.  Oh well, I'm finding I don't need as much sleep as I thought.

Words of encouragement! Congratulations on 100 posts, WOW, that IS an accomplishment. I too am finding some wonderful people here to refer with. Nice to be able to read blogs and get a better idea of what the person is really about. Makes me feel better about sending a client that way, knowing he/she really will do a good job : )

Congratulation Susan! Yes the consumers are watching us and are making request to view properties.  When we need to refer a lead of course we will consider another rainer.

Always nice to hear.  Congrats on your 100th post!  I am still anxiously awaiting my first actual client from AR, yet what I have gotten out of AR thus far is just as powerful as a source of leads.

Aloha Susan! That is a shining example of the power and beauty of the Active Rain community. Thank you for sharing. If/when I need to send a referral out of my area, I will surely check out Active Rain because I can assimilate the personalities of the prospective real estate agents in other areas to see if they seem like a good fit for my clients.  Keep up the great work and have a fabulous week! Happy Monday...
