Prior to my new listing yesterday (which was a RedBelly client reaching back out to me after realizing the error of his ways), a reporter for Bloomberg News, interviewed me for a RedBelly public relations piece. The reporter probably felt his research was a journalistic effort to tell a balanced story but the end result seemed fairly one-sided.
-- Journalism seems to have fallen by the wayside as newspapers are suffering a slow demise and it's getting worse when everybody is competing for the same eyeballs. You need look no further than John Oliver's excellent satirical, mostly true story about how journalism is in danger on HBO last week. --
The Bloomberg story was about a report -- which was paid for and released by RedBelly -- all about the benefits of hiring a RedBelly agent, a/k/a as a discount agent. I shared my input and half-joked that if he twisted anything or presented my comments in an unflattering light I would hunt him down and puncture his bicycle tires.
