If you haven't heard yet as of August 2016, the FAA relaxed drone operator restrictions. The potential of how drone technology would change the real estate industry has been discussed for a good portion of the last two years. That being said, very little came to fruition due to the restrictions made by the FAA on drone operation for commercial purposes.

Michael Heiligenstein Great post and many agents contiune to sit on the sidelines concerning drone use for promoting their listings. We do not at this time.

I know promising your potential listing clients will help you land more listings, but the drone video/photo's may not be the reason the buyer buys the home.   It will be the 2017 version of staging a home.  Love mine and hope to do a lot more with it here in Boise, Idaho.
