In June of 2013, we were invited to participate at a luxury conference featuring the iconic brands of the world. On our way from our apartment we walked by this store that had created a pair of women's shoes that looked like a long stemmed rose. The heels were studded with pointed stones to mimic thorns. We loved that they had a dozen red roses in a vase as part of the display. These were not walking shoes, just sitting around and looking fine shoes!

Hi Ron & Alexandra - It doesn't take much to get me philosophical about the impenetrable divide between the sexes when the topic of shoes comes up. I'm sitting here wondering what a pair of men's "sitting around looking fine" shoes would look like, and the most impractical thing I can come up with is certain styles of cowboy boots.

Ron and Alexandra- I'm not a high heel person but I do love those!!! It might inspire me to get that shot of Botox in my feet just so I could wear them!! I would have them sitting out on display too. And, Dick Greenberg one of my most comfortable pair of shoes I'd ever owned were my cowboy boots! Sigh...they just don't seem to work in South Florida.
I am sure that they would make a fine gift for someone named Rose, thanks R&A.
Red heels seem to be making the news lately. I had to take a close look at the pair you posted. Ivanka Trump has been marketing red shoes Aquazzura is claiming she plagerized. Here's a pair of each side by side. Be the judge.

Ron and Alexandra Seigel The shoes and roses make a beautiful display, each complementing the other. The shoes are stunning. Unfortunately, my high heel days are over.
Not sure what I think about the shoes...but it made for a great window display.
