2016 Cedar City Events – Homestead Christmas Market Applications Open

The 2016 Cedar City events is kicking fall off early. This month, the Homestead Christmas Market is accepting applications. While it is only mid-summer still, it’s the only time to submit your applications for 2016 Cedar City events like this. In addition, you will also find more upcoming events to submit applications for in Cedar City.

2016 Cedar City Events – Homestead Christmas Market Applications Open

This unique Homestead Christmas Market offers exclusive gifts for shoppers that you can’t find anywhere else. The Frontier Homestead State Park Museum hosts this living history experience each year. While celebrating, visitors experience fully with sounds, lights and smells in an atmosphere of a pioneer Christmas marketplace.

Handmade goods by artisans are encouraged to apply. The committee is looking for crafters and artists that create pieces that are especially relevant to “Christmas shopping”. In addition to artists and crafters, food trucks and food vendors are also encouraged to apply. However, these are for outside spots only. Outside spots are under the porch covered roof for added convenience.

2016 Cedar City Events – Homestead Christmas Market Since this is a juried event, there is a deadline for applying. Interested applicants should apply before August 25th. 2016 Cedar City events like this are great for the community, almost everyone comes out to events like this. And, they bring in visitors from miles around. Those who are interested in applying can apply online at the Homestead Christmas Market website.

Vendor Pricing & Booth Sizes

This unique two-day event will cost vendors $60 for an indoor space that is six by nine feet. Due to the size of the space, you can have two six-foot tables set up in an L-shape. The outdoor spaces are slightly less cost at $40 for the two-day event. These spaces are large enough to hold two six-foot tables from end-to-end.

Applicants who are selected will be notified by September 1, 2016. And, booth fees will be due by the end of September to keep your spot secured.

  • Dates: December 2, 2016 through December 3, 2016
  • Time: 11:00 am to 8:00 pm daily
  • Location: Frontier Homestead State Park Museum, 635 N Main St. Cedar City, UT.
  • Admission: Free
