For anyone that has been to BIG SUR California these photos and video are going to bring back some great memories. And for anyone that has never been to BIG SUR California ... "Shame On You" and what are you waiting for?

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz had the privilege to once again visit one of his favorite places along the pacific coast today and here are several photos that I took along the way.

Along with a video that I took several years ago when I was in BIG SUR. This video footage of BIG SUR was loaded up to YouTube and I am not very impressed with YouTube because the actual video blows away the one I presented here on the post. Unless you (PAY) YouTube money for High Definition video all you get is this low definition one. The actual video I took of BIG SUR was taken with a $6000 dollar video camera and it is tucked away in my video library along with 100's of other videos.

Anyway here it is below in YouTube mode ...

 

I guess you get what you pay for!

So for anyone that hasn't ever been to visit BIG SUR I would suggest you put it in your 'Bucket List' along with a visit to Carmel, Monterey Bay and some other wonderful places north of BIG SUR.

Vegas Bob has been visiting BIG SUR since he was a teenager and still continues to this day because once you've actually been to BIG SUR and viewed it's beauty live and close-up you will be taken away ...

Thanks for the stop, the photos are wonderful but that blurry video at YouTube sure doesn't do BIG SUR justice and leaves a sour taste in my mouth as an Artist

If you were by Monterey Bay you were very close to Big Sur, it is south of Monterey Bay, Carmel, etc.

Great video,  Robert Vegas Bob Swetz , but I will guess that the $6K camera was not the only tool that contributed since you clearly had the camera mounted on a fluid head and the smoth action is obvious. Thanks for the view!
