I posted a blog yesterday about the nightmarish problems I was having with my computer, specifically my email.
I went to Capital MAC today and told the owner how I was bombarded with hundreds of emails immediately after uploading my photos to Icloud. She explained that the phishing scam most likely happened while I was uploading the photos but didn't show up until afterwards because the computer was "busy" uploading the photos.
She also explained that if I use the mail app on my MAC to access my gmail, there is an extra layer of protection.
I have changed my passwords and my firewall and malware protection are in place so hopefully everything is fine now!
