Appliances ARE Sexy !

Mmmmm....have you looked at appliances lately ?  You are missing a new choice in color and finish if you have not...and it's soooo sexy !

Slate refrigeratorNot like anything you have ever seen....and like any other change...you will love it ...or not.  It just seems that in the course of normal business we have been asked by Buyers...now Homeowners ...to help them with designing and decorating selections as they work to make their house they bought, their home.

We take a long time in talking about their vision...how long they will stay in the house...their likes and dislikes...How they live in the home, where they will spend time.  From refinishing floors to adding lighting...replacing appliances....adding countertops, new cabinetry...sinks and paint....we are enjoying this expansion of what we have always done as former landlords and homeowners and now as an extention of what we do every day.   We are ever mindful of three things...Budgets, Tastes and Permits.....and that if everything cannot be done at once, what things make sense to do in what order so that they won't have be un or re-done later.

Slate is the color you will see in appliance showrooms and going into one of our clients' new kitchens soon. It is both elegant and durable. It does not show fingerprints and smudges and goes well with the hardware and decor Slate Stoveof many kitchens. With "shades of gray" replacing the beige of old, this finish is just the perfect compliment to any kitchen. This new color is found on over 50 appliances from range hoods to microwaves. We bet you will start seeing this new trendy color on countertops as well in mixers, can openers...you name it...and call it SLATE !

If you or anyone you know in southeastern Wisconsin is looking for Realtors "in the know"....you just call the Hansons !  Whether you find parts of your home that need a "do over" or you are "over do" for a different house...upsize or downsize....Call the Hansons...we are happy to be of service for ALL things real estate !

I totally agree. Appliances are sexy! I'm a gadget junkie so I love to see innovation in all things "gadgety." I know that's not a real word!!

I have not had the pleasure of seeing slate yet. Looks pretty sexy to me! Now I am going to be on the lookout for some.

Good morning Sally and David. Trends change but old fashioned appealed to me so I have new appliances that look old but cost more than my first new car.

We decided to go with stainless steel rather than slate.

It is good to have choices to make.

Sally and David I don't think I have ever looked at appliances as a sex object.  May be AR should give this blog an "X" rating ......... LOL

I have seen this color but only one buyer I have had has opted for it. I think it is something they have to get used to.

Thanks Sally and David.  I do like the looks of many of the new appliances being offered these days.  Now, if they could just make them a bit more reliable.
