How to solve the problem of your garage door not going down.

Good morning Toledo!!!
This past week, I opened my garage door, drove out and stopped in my driveway, pressed the remote, and the garage door would not go down.
So being handy, I did what I usually do, I called the door repair company.  Having used Dick's Automatic Door Company in the past,  I gave them a call (419-472-2100).
The solution.....
There is a garage sensor at the bottom of each side of your garage door.

 Garage Door Sensor

On each sensor there is a glass eye.  These eyes get dirty.  The nice lady at Dick's Automatic Door Company said.  Take some glass cleaner, clean the eye, and that could solve the problem.
So, I did what she recommended, and problem was solved.
I hope this little tip helps you the next time you are having problems with your garage door.
