The traffic has picked up in this college town of mine... Greenville NC.

Home of the East Carolina University Pirates !

Fall classes start today and all weekend we saw parents spending money at local stores and restaurants as they arrived to settle their kids into the dorms, apartments and housing around town.

As a local real estate expert I have the constant urge to approach these parents to discuss renting vs. owning over their students college years !

Good advice, Michelle! Parents invest in their students' housing here, and often I've seen the appreciation offset what they paid in tuition for undergraduate and even medical school! And we're talking some of the most expensive private colleges and universities in the country!
