It's a rainy Monday in Sugar Land, TX. A great day to catch up on paperwork and do all those things on the list that I've put off for "someday". I have been thinking of trying a new photographer for my listings. The one that I have used for years still takes awesome photos, but has been lagging behind a bit in getting things done. I realize that probably has a lot to do with our crazy Houston market, but it never hurts to look at the competition right?
I came across a Facebook post on a local real estate webpage for a real estate photographer. The photos were stunning to say the least. I was impressed with his use of light and the quality of the pictures. Then, I clicked on this company's facebook page to see more. Wow, what a surprise! There were lots and lots and LOTS of angry political rants, some memes that were borderline racist and plenty of the owner's personal opinions on, oh shall we say, almost everything!
It still amazes me why folks who are in business would post such stuff for the whole world to see! I was once told that if you wouldn't put your thought on a billboard on the 610 Loop (the busiest stretch of freeway in Texas), then don't put it on your Facebook page! Obviously, some folks have not gotten the message. I don't believe I will be hiring this company.
