Wordless Wednesday - They Don't Make Toys Like They Used To!

Wow, that's a classic - I bet my husband had one of those LOL

Larry unlike  Kristin I am not to young to remember those toys, and remember my younger brother having one.

That's a great photo, Larry. I remember those! It's pretty interesting how simple things used to be, especially when you look at the toys kids have these days!

Larry, this style of toy also had some great sound effects if I remember correctly!  These types of toys were so sturdy compared to the light plastic ones of today!

I remember those toys.  I loved those little things.  This one probably brought hours and hours of giggles and joy.

What a cool looking toy!  It is sad that everything is made cheaply these days, it is all about profit, rather than quality.

Hi Larry -- not plastic but wood ---- a nice nostalgic look back to the good ol' days.  

I never had a bee like this one, but I had a wooden dog that was very similar!

I remember those, but I don't know who had one. Must have been one of us kids. To old for Dana I think...

Larry, My children had this toy and loved it back in the day. You are correct they do not make toys like they use to ! 

Okay, okay, Larry... I'll admit it... I am old enough to remember toys made of wood! Somehow they seem more substantial than plastic.

Hi Larry, I loved those pull toys and remember them well. Things have changed, including toys.

My daughter had one of those and it was simple yet interesting enough to get her to pull it around. And it lasted and lasted because it was made well.

I had one of those! I love the nostalgic toys of yesteryear! They just don't make toys like that anymore!

Life was much simpler for children back when that toy was made, Larry.
