I've been working with a young couple with three children who lost their home in the flood on June 23. It has been a little rough going, but the home they want is now under contract. Thank goodness the loan has been approved, home inspection completed and the seller has agreed to fix/replace all the requested items on the home inspection. The appraiser said he did not find any issues with the property and we will have his report by Friday.
Since the flood, the family has been living with relatives, the kids have started school, and they are so looking forward to moving into their beautiful home. With two bedrooms on the main level and three on the second floor, this home is just perfect for them. Situated on 23 acres, you have a great country setting with covered porch and gazebo for entertaining, detached garage, and workshop with a huge loft area. Plus there is a 500 sq.ft. building for storing tractor and farm equipment.
The loan officer, Diane Beale of Alcova Mortgage, and I are so excited for this family. Like my clients, we can't wait for closing and see happy, smiling faces and perhaps some tears of joy.
